S.T.A.R - Strategic Transactional Activity Report


Mail order companies traditionally focus on their most recent and active customers, and often fail to consider those who may not have purchased from them for some time. These customers are typically branded as 'inactive purchasers' and are consequently removed from the organisations distribution list.
A STAR helps you identify those key consumer groups that are still actively purchasing via mail order but no longer from you. This information can then be used to develop reactivation programmes targeted at your most valuable past customers in order to convert them back into active purchasers.
A STAR analyses customer activity outside of their relationship with your company using recency, frequency, and monetary value (RFM) data. This analysis highlights how many other mail order companies they purchase from, the recency of their last purchase, their number of transactions, average order value and total mail order spend.
